Scientific Support Enablement Partner
Job Description Summary
As a Scientific Support Enablement Partner, you will manage programs that directly represent the function of the Scientific Support department. The programs can span product/portfolio-focus, training, lab, systems, or enablement. As a Subject Matter Expert for the team, you will champion product portfolio(s), training function(s), or system(s); drafts strategic plans and fiscal goals for approval, and deliver on these in collaboration with departmental and interdepartmental stakeholders.Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee, provide strategic input, and implement training programs, lab management, systems, and/or enablement programs to advance scientific support for colleagues, customers, distributors, and partners.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs using various analytics tools, including identifying gaps, recommending improvements and implementing solutions.
- Train team members on new and existing best practices, guidelines, processes, and/or scientific knowledge related to the job's focus. May supervise, coach, and/or mentor junior team members.
- Support and contribute to departmental goals in the area of scientific training, product/protocol demonstration, product/service development, lab management, systems or enablement.
- Contribute to reporting on the execution of training programs by monitoring customer satisfaction and setting up new or revised guidelines or processes upon business needs.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences field, such as Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology, with 5 to 10 years' laboratory experience, or PHD with 2-5 years of experience; experience with project or program management is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of product portfolio, training programs, or systems under the remit of the function.
- Previous leadership/managerial experience in people management/supervision
- Ability to explain product and scientific information to both experts and non-experts.
- Communication and presentation skills with strong critical thinking and time management
