Recruitment Fraud Alert

STEMCELL Technologies has become aware of a scam wherein somebody is offering remote job opportunities, posing as STEMCELL Hiring Management during interviews, then providing fraudulent employee agreements and checks. We have reported this criminal activity to the appropriate authorities and our online security team is working hard to ensure that it is dealt with. Please be advised that all legitimate employment opportunities at STEMCELL, including any jobs advertised on third party sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn, or other local job boards will also be posted at jobs.stemcell.com, and any employment applications must be submitted directly to STEMCELL Technologies through that site. Further, all email correspondence with STEMCELL will be through an official "@stemcell.com" email address - you will never receive an email from STEMCELL via gmail or any other email domain. Job Description Summary

Are you looking for the next step in your Sales career? As an Account Manager at STEMCELL Technologies you'll apply your scientific knowledge to help advance research in the life sciences. You'll leverage your expertise in managing complex and/or large accounts and passion for science to support and advise our academic and industrial partners to help drive their research forward. As an Account Manager you'll support STEMCELL's growth by identifying and acquiring new customers to drive new business while simultaneously managing existing accounts and relationships in your territory. In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise and strategic thinking to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Forecast, develop and execute territory strategies to achieve or exceed revenue target in assigned territory on a quarterly basis

  • Leverages product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain relationships and perform product demonstrations to build trust in the STEMCELL brand

  • Applies concepts of strategic account management to grow the customer base

  • Documents communications and keeps the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to date

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • BSc with relevant sales and research experience or MSc / PhD with less than 2 years of relevant sales experience

  • Requires broad knowledge in the Life Sciences and Sales, including products, processes, practices, and approaches

  • Demonstrates expertise in the competitor landscape and proficiency on the entire product portfolio

  • Displays proficiency in lab skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues
