Scientific Sales Representative
Job Description Summary
If you have a passion for science and expertise in the immunology field, we have an opportunity for you!As a member of our Sales team, you will support and advise our academic customers with strong product knowledge to help drive their research forward. In this role you will have a broad and immediate impact on scientific discovery by leveraging your scientific expertise to provide expert consultation and become a trusted ally in the scientific process.
Please note that this role requires travel within the Guangzhou region to support our customers.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Forecast, develop and execute territory strategies to achieve or exceed revenue target in assigned territory on a quarterly basis
- Leverage product knowledge to develop, grow and maintain customer relationships and perform product demonstrations
- Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory, through prospecting, emails, phone calls, and virtual and in-person meetings.
- Document communications and keep the customer relationship management (CRM) database up to date
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Immunology; previous Sales experience is considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in the immunology landscape and awareness of the product portfolio
- Display proficiency in lab skills and able to troubleshoot complex customer issues
- Professional proficiency in English
